"What sets Veronica apart is her genuine compassion and ability to create a safe space where I feel truly heard. She has an extraordinary gift for seeing beneath the surface and guiding me to identify paths that I couldn’t see myself. Through her thoughtful wisdom and compassionate presence, I feel lighter and more hopeful about life ahead." Josie
"I loved my time working with Veronica. She instantly made me feel relaxed and heard. Even after 10 years losing my mum, it was powerful to explore my grief and Veronica has empowered me to find deeply personal ways to honour her. I am grateful for Veronica’s wisdom and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for support through the grieving process." Sophie
About me
Welcome. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Veronica and I support people whose lives have been changed by grief and loss - whether through bereavement, relationship endings, life transitions or the uncertainty of the times we’re living in.
My work is shaped by both my professional certification in loss and grief and my lived experience of grief. I work within an established ethical framework and participate in regular supervision.
My approach is grounded in the teachings of leading grief educators Alan Wolfelt and Francis Weller. At the heart is the understanding that grief is not something to move past quickly, but a necessary process, and an expression of what is most alive and precious within us.
As Sobonfu Somé, a teacher from the Dagara tradition in Burkina Faso, writes: “When we allow ourselves to grieve, we make space inside for new life to grow. Grief is the companion of joy; without one, the other cannot live.”
I have lived in other countries and worked for over a decade in international peacebuilding and development. This shaped how I understand life transitions, grief across cultures and my care for humanity.
What I offer
If you’ve been feeling alone in your grief or uncertain about life ahead, you are warmly welcome. With patience, support and companionship, many people gradually learn how to meet their grief. In time, this can bring a deeper connection to life, greater clarity about what matters, and new, meaningful ways of being. This is the essence of the grief support I offer.
My approach is gentle, unhurried and personable. I listen deeply, ask questions with care and offer guidance where it feels supportive. My role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as light begins to return.
Grief and life transitions are deeply personal and tender, requiring care, attention and consistency. Private grief support is therefore intended to take place over a minimum of 12 weeks, continuing for several months or longer, depending on what feels right for you. Sessions last 60 or 90 minutes, are held in confidence and take place at a regular weekly or fortnightly time.
I work online globally and in person in Stroud. Whether your grief is recent or long-held, visible or private, you are welcome. If this resonates, you’re invited to book a free introductory call.
