About me

My name is Toni and I am a High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Registered Mental Health Nurse with over 15 years’ experience working within NHS mental health services, including CAMHS and specialist psychological settings. My background as both a nurse and therapist informs an holistic, thoughtful approach to mental health care, allowing me to work confidently with children, young people and adults.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, OCD, phobias, low mood, depression, trauma-related difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges. I also work in a neurodiversity-affirming way, adapting therapy to accommodate differences in thinking, communication, sensory processing and emotional regulation.

I value creating a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, respectful and collaborative. I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, and I aim to provide a calm and supportive space where individuals feel understood and able to engage at their own pace.

"Thank you so much for all your help, you have proved to me that therapy and getting help is worth it! I feel very grateful to have had the time with you and I am very saddened to see it end. Thank you again! Former Client

What I offer

I offer structured, evidence-based High Intensity CBT for children, young people and adults, tailored to each person’s individual needs and goals. Therapy is collaborative and practical, supporting clients to develop a clearer understanding of their difficulties and learn effective strategies to manage them.

Depending on the individual, this may include graded exposure, behavioural experiments, skills-based work and approaches to support emotional regulation and distress tolerance. I adapt therapy flexibly to ensure it is accessible and meaningful for each person.

Where appropriate, I work systemically, offering guidance and support to parents, partners or carers to help reinforce progress outside of sessions. My aim is to help clients feel empowered, build confidence in managing challenges and develop tools they can continue to use beyond therapy.

"Thank you truly for everything and helping me to understand my OCD and overcome the challenges and difficulties it once held over me. With your support I have managed to be more self compassionate, developed new ways of thinking and tolerating distress more effectively. I will miss working with you. Former Client
