About me
I am an experienced psychotherapist with 10 years of professional experience. I bring maturity, calmness and a thoughtful, compassionate approach to my work.
Alongside my private practice, where I have worked with a broad range of psychological difficulties, I have supported survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence, providing me with a strong foundation in trauma-informed practice.
I have also gained considerable experience with supporting people through bereavement, working at a hospice for several years and as a volunteer bereavement counsellor for a national bereavement charity.
These are areas in which I have particular expertise, but I also value working with a broad range of life struggles and am committed to providing a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space in which people can explore whatever difficulties they may be facing.
What I offer
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I am trained in a range of therapeutic theories and approaches, which allows me to work flexibly and thoughtfully with you as an individual. I tailor our work to your particular circumstances, needs and goals, rather than applying one single approach.
Perhaps you have become used to presenting a strong, capable and composed front, while internally you may feel overwhelmed, exhausted or as though you are slowly falling apart.
My role is not to tell you who you should be or what you should do, but to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself. Through our work together, we can disentangle some of the confusion you may be experiencing, recognise patterns that may not be helpful, and consider new perspectives on your personal situation.
