"I was ready to leave my career of sixteen years and already applying for other jobs. Working with Katie helped me get to the root of my dissatisfaction and relate differently to work. I’m now 20 years into that career, in a role that is the highlight of my career so far and prepping for promotion."

About me

My name is Katie and I have founded and created Yellowrattle Coaching to catalyse people who want to make an environment for them, and those around them, to flourish. I have led, and been led, in many situations; from warzones to business and during this time, I have developed a deep interest in what makes the best environments for people to flourish at work.

Taking that experience and research, I qualified as an executive coach through Henley Business School and continue to research the topic to present day, particularly to inform my psychodynamic approach. I am supervised by specialists in person-centred coaching and mentored in a Jungian approach to psychodynamic coaching by the author of ‘A Jungian Approach to Coaching’, Laurence Barrett. You can find out more about our leadership programme, Open Water, delivered through Heresy Consulting, by contacting me.

I also have my own tutors, mentor and training therapist in Jungian psychology through the British Jungian Analytic Association.

What I offer

Coaching is for anyone who wants to understand ways to explore their options from new perspectives. Importantly, coaching supports the discovery of change from within, with the process to finding out what you want to change as important as the change itself. There are different modalities used in coaching, which support the type of challenge or opportunity you’re facing.

The two approaches I offer are psychodynamic coaching and person-centred coaching, either in 60 or 90 minute sessions.

People contact me when it’s high stakes: a founder scaling up, a change in career, significant decision times. They want autonomy over their decisions, to understand the influences acting upon them, and I coach them to choose their own path.

My approach is inclusive, curious, diligent, and always in partnership.

Katie provided invaluable support through regular, meaningful sessions which enabled me to critically reflect on my own strengths, weaknesses and career goals. Her coaching style is supportive while not being afraid to ask difficult questions and tackle challenges! Rather than spoon-feed solutions, Katie was excellent at supporting me to find my own answers and plan next steps.
