About me

I have a warm, intuitive nature and see my core values of compassion and authenticity as vital to my work. I strive to be with you in the depth of your difficulties with empathy, awareness, and honesty. I see this relational approach as offering great potential for processing and moving through challenges.

I am in the later stages of my Master’s in Psychotherapy, a six-year, challenging, and transformative process. I have been practicing therapy for four years, and in private practice for three. Becoming a Psychotherapist has been a natural progression following a career in supportive and therapeutic services; I have extensive experience working with people in times of difficulty, creating an environment where they can be heard and find a way forward. I have also benefited greatly from my own experience of therapy, which has supported a process of knowing and valuing myself, allowing for new ways of being in the world.

What I offer

Psychotherapy is a process of talking with a trusted other in a safe space to support your mental wellbeing and help you navigate life’s challenges. It can be helpful for many kinds of issues, from low mood and depression, to overwhelm and anxiety, or for processing past traumas and losses. Whatever the reason, it can be a powerful way to release solitary suffering, allowing you to experience yourself and your life in a new way.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means I am trained in and influenced by a range of psychotherapeutic approaches, and I draw on these to meet the unique needs of each person I work with. At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship, a space where trust can develop, and where you can feel deeply heard, valued, and met as you are. I offer a space to explore the many influences in your life: past, present, inherited, relational, and cultural. In doing this, there is an opportunity to gain awareness, express, release, accept, and move beyond what no longer serves you. I am deeply curious about what makes you uniquely you.

I offer 50-minute sessions weekly. My fee is £40 per session.
