About me

I work with clients who want to understand what is driving their symptoms so that they can put into place the diet and lifestyle to overcome their symptoms and improve their health. If you’re feeling baffled about what’s going on inside you and confused about what to do, I can help you with a realistic step by step nutrition plan for your priorities.

My fascination with the health benefits of a traditional diet led me to study the science of nutrition. What I’ve learned about the impact of food on health guides my own food choices, helping me to combine the benefits of traditional foods with the realities of food in the world today. This really helps me to understand the challenges you face in making the food choices to support your health.

I want you to take an active part in making decisions about your health journey. From deciding to make some changes to discovering the choices for your wellness, it’s about the connections between what you eat and the way you feel. I’m not going to tell you what to do, but I am going to help you work out what to do, with guidance and support for your journey.

"I feel more optimistic about my health going forward, as I know how to improve it from a nutritional standpoint. The impact of Jane's advice and recommendations exceeded all my expectations, leading to a vast improvement in mood stabilisation and increase in energy levels, all contributed by nutrition! Jane's support has had such a profound and positive impact in my life." Alfie

What I offer

As a nutritional therapist I have a special interest in stress sensitive conditions which affect both your gut and your emotions, with a holistic approach. From stress management to digestive concerns to IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), the gut-brain axis plays a key role. Your nutrition is foundational to your gut-brain axis and improving your symptoms. A holistic approach is also vital to addressing the intricate network of the gut-brain axis.

Nutritional therapy is much more than a one-off list of food recommendations. Your nutrition pathway takes you from where you are to where you want to be with your food and lifestyle for your wellness. From the first assessment of your health and wellbeing, through your regular check in reviews, I help you to manage the changes for new food and lifestyle habits which you can sustain into your future.

Before we begin working together, it’s really important that you have a chance to find out whether you feel this is the right choice for you. I offer a free call so we can talk things through and you are free to make your decision about your next step.

I see clients in Stroud on Thursdays and Fridays and online on Mondays and Tuesdays.

"Jane is so lovely, helpful, and is very knowledgeable in what she does. I asked for help as I can't be calm around food due to food cravings...It's been only a week since I started Jane's program, but I'm already seeing a lot of difference! I couldn't believe how what you eat can reduce food cravings. I love cream cakes and biscuits, so I used to have sweet things several times a day, but I haven't had any of those for a week and I feel quite calm about it." Akiko
