About me

I am an experienced coach and final year trainee health psychologist, with specialist training in behaviour change, psychological interventions and trauma-informed practice. I bring a warm, reflective, and evidence-based approach to my work, grounded in a strong understanding of wellbeing, behaviour, and the wider contexts that shape people’s lives.

My background spans work with both adolescents and adults. I have over twenty years’ experience supporting adolescents through key educational transitions, periods of heightened pressure such as exams, and more complex emotional or family circumstances.

Alongside this, I support adults navigating significant periods of adjustment, including new health diagnoses and the transitions surrounding pregnancy and early parenthood.

Across this work, I am experienced in supporting people at times when routines, identity and expectations are shifting and when compassionate, psychologically informed support can make a meaningful difference.

"Claire challenges me to find practical ways to move forwards."

"My sessions with Claire are great, she provides me with the right kind of support for my ever evolving needs."

What I offer

I provide compassionate, non-judgemental support tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. My approach is collaborative and person-centred, helping clients explore their values, motivations, thoughts, feelings and behaviours and understand how these influence everyday life.

I draw on a range of evidence-based psychological approaches and frameworks, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and cognitive-behavioural strategies, as well as models of behaviour change.

Whether you are navigating a period of adjustment, managing pressure or uncertainty, or seeking to build healthier routines and behaviours, I work with you to set meaningful, realistic goals and develop strategies that are achievable and lasting.
