About me

I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and I am also fully accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapists (BABCP). I have over 15 years of clinical experience working within the NHS and other settings. During this time, I have had the privilege of supporting adults and families from a wide range of backgrounds and life stages through the navigation of a range of emotional and psychological challenges.

My training as a Clinical Psychologist is diverse and my practice is firmly grounded in current evidence-based theory, research and best-practice guidance. Creating a safe, trusting and supportive therapeutic space is at the heart of my approach. With a thoughtful and individualised approach, we can collaboratively work to develop a bespoke formulation and treatment plan that encompasses your unique needs and goals.

I am particularly interested and experienced in working with individuals with lived experience of trauma. Alongside my clinical training, my academic background has shaped my interest in the influence of culture, society and personal history on mental health and wellbeing. I continue to work part time in the NHS as a Principal Clinical Psychologist alongside my private practice.

What I offer

I offer face-to-face and online assessments and psychological therapy for adults. Sessions are 50 minutes long and are usually held weekly. Therapy can be short, medium, long term or open ended depending upon your goals and needs.

My role is to meet you where you’re at, to help you to make sense of your experiences and support you in moving forward towards your personal goals. To do this I work using a range of therapeutic approaches which I tailor to each individual’s needs, goals and circumstances.

I place great importance on offering a nuanced approach, supporting you in making sense of patterns and experiences that may be contributing to current difficulties. A collaborative approach enables us to explore and reflect on your experiences, with compassion and understanding and to move towards meaningful and achievable goals at your own pace.
