I am Amy, a qualified Person-Centred counsellor helping adults and young people from the age of 12 years. My therapeutic style is relational and I consider myself to be approachable and friendly with respect and empathy at the heart of my work. I offer an open and non-judgemental space for you to reconnect with your true self.
Alongside my private practice, I am employed as a young person counsellor at a charity organisation in Bristol, I am also a volunteer counsellor for Cotswold Counselling in Cirencester where I work with adults.
My intention is to facilitate a safe environment in which you have the space and time to gain greater understanding and self-awareness, which in time allows you to grow in confidence and self-worth so that life’s decisions and challenges feel less daunting and overwhelming.
Therapy can help to make connections between life’s challenges and our body’s responses, whilst creating internal compassion for past experiences and resilience for the future.
